The theme of the evening was a fusion of fashion, art, music and media. Guests spent the evening adoring models decked out evening wear from featured designer Fabrizio De Castro, enjoying pop-up fashion boutiques and grooving away to beats from O.Z. Mr. 28 Grams and DJ Carsonicboom, all while they sampled Mediterranean fare from the Vintro Hotel. Delish wine courtesy of Julian Wines was free flowing next to Miami’s newest liquor Toast Vodka, and the crowd stayed energized with premium 100% Colombian coffee from Juan Valdez. Artist Hector Maldonado had his sculptural works on display while artist and TV’s “Shark Tank” winner Lee Dahlberg presented his latest paintings. Graphic artist, Gianfranco Bianchi from Graphographics, created an edgy fashion video that was projected on the 10-story wall of the hotel using the most cutting-edge in video mapping techniques. Miami, FL – December 3, 2014 – In celebration of Theory and Helmut Lang’s store openings in Miami’s Design District, both esteemed fashion brands partnered with Christie’s auction house and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to outfit their stores in Andy Warhol prints in light of Art Basel. Shoppers and art afficianados spent the evening browsing the latest works, as well as checking out everything the new stores had to offer. Ten percent of the proceeds from the evening’s sales went to benefit the Andy Warhol Museum.

Miami Beach, FL – December 4, 2014 – On Thursday evening, The World of Mr Somebody & Mr Nobody, Sharon Lombard, Heidi Chisholm, along with Cathy Leff, and the Miami Design District celebrated fashion maverick Bernhard Willhelm, whose clothes comprise part of the temporary installation created by Lombard and Chisholm at 91 NE 40 Street. Over 300 guests including Willhelm and his team, who will have their first US exhibition at LA MOCA in February 2015, fashionistas and groupies of Willhelm came out to enjoy the fascinating and unique looks. While browsing the space guests munched on delicious bites from Michele Areces and a local food truck, as well as sip on savory creations by Chris Adamo who served guests a “Screaming Bernhard,” a tequila based concoction. Art director and musician, Dirk Bonn, flew in from Berlin just for the occasion and was also on hand to provide the perfect sounds for the fete and Miles Ladin took images inspired by the space’s esthetics.The evening was a lively cultural and visual encounter that left everyone wanting more.

The bold black and white stripes that cover the building are integrated into the design of the shoe and reflect the vibrant aesthetic of this iconic building. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the limited edition style will go to benefit The Goldman Properties Arts Program. The Goldman Properties Arts Program searches out new and emerging artists of the Street Art genre and beyond, fostering careers and developing connections between art and public space.

Miami, FL – December 4, 2014 – British-born, US-based footwear and accessory designer Paul Andrew visited South Miami’s premier independently-owned luxury shoe and handbag boutique Capretto Shoes last week to to present his latest Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Taking inspiration from the Greek islands and the mythological goddesses of Ancient Greece, the Paul Andrew Spring/Summer 2015 collection harmonizes majestic feminine power with the glamour of an Aegean holiday. The color palette is a postcard from days of sailing amidst the islands, at once mighty and poetic: Aegean blue, pomegranate, fig green, sand, tangerine and aqua. Guests spent the afternoon mixing and mingling with the Andrew himself, trying on various looks from the collection.

Miami Beach, FL – December 6, 2014 – On Saturday afternoon, NBA wife and Style Saves patron Larsa Pippen hosted an intimate brunch at Fendi Chateau’s sales center, giving invited guests a sneak peek at the luxury property set to open April 2016. The event benefitted the students of Style Saves, a Miami-based non-profit organization that focuses on providing clothing, accessories and prescription eyewear to underprivileged children. Through fashion, art and social events, Style Saves aims to raise funds for year-round activations both in Miami and beyond. The organization’s next event alongside IMG will take place in Brooklyn, New York, in January; over 250 students will be given winter coats to brave the fierce, cold weather months. To support the impending winter coat drive, Larsa Pippen invited friends including actor Vincent De Paul, Loren Ridinger, Heather and Ayana Boucher, Kijafa Vick, Zana White, Natalia Weissman, Maria Checa and more to a seated brunch to learn more about the organization’s initiatives. In addition to private donations, guests were invited to support the cause by shopping for the holidays via the Style Saves silent auction, live on charitybuzz.org through December 18. Items like hotel packages, designer accessories and fine jewelry make for perfect holiday gifts that keep on giving.
